What do you mean by "enhancing product, customer and pet data"?

When we talk about enhancing product, customer, and pet data, we mean that we enable your site to allow each customer to enter their pet(s) profile. PetPro AI can then identify products in your catalogue that are relevant to the customer’s pet. PetPro AI can also indicate how well the product is received by other pets matching a customer’s pet profile. Your customers will also be able to assign their pet(s) to the products they have purchased or are purchasing. This gives you visibility into what products are being bought by what customers and for which type of pets.

What does the AI in PetPro AI do?

PetPro’s AI is an artificial intelligence system designed to deepen engagement and increase retention & lifetime value of your customers by communicating with them using hyper-personalization tools.

PetPro IA is trained by millions of real-world customer, pet and product data points including attributes, classifications, and categories. This ever-growing system integrates with the first party data you collect about your customers to enable you to:

What is included in the PetPro AI email automation platform?

Having everything in one centralized location with data that is integrated will enable deep personalization of all customer outreach. PetPro AI’s personalized notification system currently includes templates for the following emails:

- Replenish emails - invite customers to repurchase with highly personalized emails

We will continue to expand the notification system with templates for the following emails:

What is the purpose of the PetPro AI app?

The PetPro AI app has three main purposes:  

To create a truly personalized customer shopping experience. This is based on the pet profile the customer creates in your store in combination with the millions of data points in the PetPro AI system.

To increase customer retention and lifetime value. This enables you to upsell and cross-sell truly relevant products and services to customers based on their pet profile information and comparative information from other pet profiles.

To expand insight into product performance with customers. PetPro AI taps into millions of real-world experiences that vastly expands upon the reviews you gather from customers.

How does the PetPro AI app work?

The PetPro AI app is available in the Shopify app store and integrates with your e-commerce store just like any other app from the Shopify app store. PetPro expands your customer account system by adding My Pets to your top navigation menus and/or the Pet Profile icon to a corner of your e-commerce website .

PetPro AI synchronizes your new pet profile information with your Shopify master catalogue and your customer purchase history enabling you to understand your customers and what they buy for their pets on a much deeper level.  

PetPro AI automatically creates and sends highly personalized emails to customers to encourage them to repurchase from your store.

PetPro AI adds pet information to customer cards and order pages to empower your support team to personalize support calls and emails with customers.

Why does PetPro AI need to collect information about my customer's pets?

PetPro AI uses your customers’ pet profile information to create expanded and more accurate pet personas, which then enables you to offer more accurate product and service suggestions to customers. These personas can also be matched to specific products and services for other customers’ pets with the same characteristics.

The information you collect in a customers’ pet profile is anonymized (PII data removed) and run through the PetPro Artificial Intelligence system, combining it with the millions of other data points about pets, products, and health. An example of how this works is how you would go about suggesting a food to a customer based on ingredients and health issues.

Customer A has a specific breed of adult dog with a specific health issue. Food A has ingredients known to assist with this specific health issue in this specific breed of adult dog. Product suggestion can now be made to Customer A with confidence based on pet profile information and PetPro AI insights.  

What does PetPro Ai do with my customer's pet information?

PetPro AI is very serious about protecting a customer’s personally identifiable information. Personally identifiable information (PII) includes the customer’s first & last name, physical address, email, phone number and profile picture.

PII customer and pet profile information from the pet profile is stored on Scollar’s secure cloud service in Microsoft Azure. This information is stored encrypted in transit to ensure the information is always protected and secure. The non PII pet data is anonymously aggregated into our PetPro AI system to increase the relevance and accuracy of the insights that PetPro AI delivers.

What does "Personally Identifiable Information" or PII mean?

Personally identifiable information (PII) means any information that can personally identify a customer. This information includes customer’s first & last name, physical address, email, phone number and profile picture. PII customer and pet profile information from the pet profile is stored on Scollar’s secure cloud service in Microsoft Azure. This information is stored encrypted in transit to ensure the information is always protected and secure.

Where is my customers' data stored?

Your customer’s pet data is stored in the PetPro AI database on our secure servers on Microsoft Azure. This information is stored encrypted in transit to ensure it is always protected and secure. Your customers’ pet information and order history are stored on Scollar’s secure cloud service in Microsoft Azure.

Your customers can delete their PII pet profile at any time and their personal information will immediately be deleted from the PetPro AI database.

How will PetPro AI protect my customers' data?

PetPro AI uses Microsoft Azure to protect all data we collect about pets in the pet profile database. This information is encrypted in transit and at rest to ensure it is always protected and secure. This information includes customer’s first & last name, physical address, email, phone number and pet profile data.

Who owns the customer's pet information that PetPro AI collects?

Your customer owns their personally identifiable information and their pet’s information. They can opt out at any time and have their personally identifiable information (PII) and pet profile information immediately removed from PetPro AI.

What information is gathered in a pet profile?

There are two types of information your customer can share with you for their pet profile. The first is "standard" information. This includes:

Is Scollar in competition with my pet store?

At Scollar our main focus is building world class AI driven hyper-personalization software for merchants. Scollar does have a marketplace of products and services that serves as our testing ground. Before we tell merchants how to optimize personalization efforts, we test our theories and tactics in our own store.

We are also building the Scollar Network of product and service providers who can network with each other to provide products and services outside of current offerings. All of the Scollar Network members benefit from the aritificial intelligence of the PetPro AI system.
